Ready-Made or Custom: Which One Suits You

We make two kinds of pieces, and the right one depends mostly on how much time you have. Here is a simple way to choose.

Choose ready-made when time matters

Ready-made pieces are finished and in stock, so they ship straight away. They suit you when the date is close, when you are buying for someone whose taste you are not sure about, or when you simply want a classic chain, a tennis bracelet or a ring that works with everything.

They are also the safer gift. A classic chain fits almost any style, while a name is a commitment.

Choose custom when the piece has to mean something

A custom piece carries a name, a word, an initial or a date, in Arabic or in English. It suits birthdays, weddings, a new baby, a graduation and anniversaries. It takes a little longer because it is made by hand for one person, and delivery is 5 to 7 working days.

One thing to plan for: a custom piece cannot be returned or exchanged, so we send you a design draft to approve before we make anything.

Getting the size right

This is where most gift buyers hesitate, so keep it simple.

• Necklaces. Borrow a chain the person already wears and measure it flat.
• Bracelets. Wrap a strip of paper around the wrist, mark it, then measure the strip and add a little room.
• Rings. The hardest to guess. If you are not sure, a necklace or a bracelet is the safer gift.
